Region Jazz Ensemble Audition Information

AUDITION REGISTRATION

Thank you for your interest in registering for the region jazz ensemble auditions. Please follow the instructions below very carefully.

Students:

1. Please click on the link below entitled “Student Registration.” This will bring you to an online registration form.
2. Fill out all of the information carefully and accurately. Make sure to hit “submit” at the end of the form.
3. Make sure to complete this by March 2nd, 2012 to avoid a late fee of $25.
4. If completed between March 3rd and March 9th, a late fee of $25 per application will apply. Registration will not be accepted after March 9th. 

STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR REGION JAZZ ENSEMBLE AUDITIONS - Registration is now closed.

1. Please click on the link below entitled “Signature Page.” Print the signature page and make sure you and your parent/legal guardian read it in its entirety.
2. After reading, have your parent/legal guardian sign the signature page. Then bring it to your band director.
3. Your band director will mail this form to the appropriate region audition chair.
4. Forms must be postmarked by March 2nd to avoid a late fee of $25 per application. Forms will not be accepted with a postmark date after March 9th.

SIGNATURE PAGE - Registration is now closed.

Each application has a registration fee of $15. Your director will collect the fees from all auditioning students from his/her school and write one check to NJAJE.
Please communicate with your director with regards to making payment arrangments.

NOTE:  If auditioning on more than one instrument, you must fill out a separate online “Student Registration” form, a separate “Signature Page,”
and submit a separate $15 registration fee for each instrument you are auditioning on.

Directors:

1. Please click on the link below entitled “Director Registration.”This will bring you to an online form.
2. Please submit all information accurately and make sure to hit the “submit” button when finished.
3. You only need to submit this information once. There is no need to submit this page for each student you have coming to auditions.

Please make sure to complete this by March 2nd. 

DIRECTOR REGISTRATION FOR REGION JAZZ ENSEMBLE AUDITIONS - Registration is now closed.

1. Please double check with your students and make sure they are filling out the online student registration forms by March 2nd.
2. Your students should print a signature page (link above), have their parents sign it, and then bring it to you. Please sign it and have your principal sign it as well. 
3. Your students should bring you the $15 registration fee. Please collect these fees and then write one check for the total amount to NJAJE. Please only send one check.
4. We will NOT accept personal checks from student families. We will only accept personal checks from directors or school district checks.
5. If past March 2nd, please include the $25 per application late fee.
6. Please make sure that if you have a student auditioning on multiple instruments, he/she submits a separate Student Registration, separate Signature Page,
and separate application fee for each instrument.

7. Collect all signature pages and ensure they are all signed appropriately. Make a photocopy of your NAfME membership (formerly MENC).
8. Write one check to NJAJE for the total amount due and mail all of this as one packet to the audition chairperson (address listed below).
9. Please make sure it is postmarked by March 2nd! Otherwise a $25/application late fee applies.
